Venus is a determined and talented litigator and a skilled settlement negotiator. She is experienced in conducting litigation and arbitration in all jurisdictions. She has an astute ability to focus on and deal with the critical issues in a cost-effective manner.
For many years Venus has particularly concentrated her litigation skills in commercial disputes and in the construction and building industry. She has acted for architects, engineers, builders, building owners and project managers.
Venus has also acted in local government disputes (including appeals in the Land and Environment Court) and in contested probate applications and Family Provision Act claims.
Venus is fluent in Greek and holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree with 1st Class Honours as-well-as Specialist Accreditation from the Law Society of NSW in Commercial Litigation Law, and is an active member of the Australian Construction Law Discussion Group.
