With over 25 years in legal practice, Tom has extensive experience in areas of Family Law and Commercial Litigation in both the Supreme Court and Australian Federal Court. In the past 10 years Tom has substantively practiced in the Family Court and Federal Magistrates Family Court.
Tom is conscious of the sensitivity and distress associated with separation and the breakup of the family particularly its effect on children and the financial consequences arising from separation. On receiving instructions Tom's immediate objective is to minimise the emotional impact of the breakup while at the same time assert and protect the client's property rights and interest and provide practical guidance towards making suitable arrangements for the children including referral to professional counsellors.
Tom's experience in Family Law Property issues include analysing and bringing to account property of the parties or third party interests whether under a trust, corporation or partnership, bringing to property dispute litigation, years of experience gained from the intense complex area of commercial litigation.
Tom has particular interest in property brought to the marriage through special skills, inheritances, windfalls and the question of prospective entitlements to possible inheritances, interests under discretionary trusts and third party loans.

Tom is a Public Notary and former President of New South Wales Soccer Federation Limited and Football New South Wales.
