John has a very broad range of experience and expertise in the areas of commercial law, property trusts and estate law. He has practiced since 1965 in Sydney, Canberra and Goulburn, becoming a partner of Conway Maccallum in 1992. His practice continues in the areas of general business law, business structuring, wills and estates and estate planning.
For many years he was a visiting consultant to the Legal Workshop of the Australian National University, where he established and ran NSW property courses for the students.
John has presented at seminars conducted by the University of New South Wales, the College of Law and other organizations providing continuing education in asset protection, business succession, contested probate litigation and estate administration.
He holds Specialist Accreditation from the Law Society of NSW in both Business Law and Wills and Estates Law
From 1999 to 2003, John was a member of the Professional Conduct Committee of the Law Society of New South Wales. |
