MICHAEL ZWAR/PARTNER

Biography

Michael has extensive litigation experience both in the equity division of the Supreme Court, Federal Court with particular emphasis on insolvency and trade practices matters. During the late 1980's he was involved with the well known and long running Federal Court matter known as Mudgenberri v The Meat Workers Union of Australia. This matter ran for more than 2 years in the Federal Court with consequential High Court appeals. Since that time he has worked extensively in property litigation including agricultural land. Michael also has extensive experience in probate and family provision litigation acting on behalf of many well known estates dealing with family provision and other applications relation to administration. His work on behalf of liquidators included the United Telecasters (Channel 10 winding-up) and many other well know administrations during the years 1991 to 2006. Michael's practice encompasses all aspects of commercial litigation.
